Terms of Sale and Software Use

Effective date: August 31, 2026

These terms apply to purchases and use of software, documentation, downloads, licenses, and related support offered through AuroraModules.com. The seller is CityMind Technology Group, LLC, operated by founder Lamar Brantley, 10709 Old Grove Circle, Bradenton, Florida 34212. Questions may be sent to lamar@citymind.com.

1. Dealer accounts and authority

AuroraModules.com is intended primarily for professional audiovisual dealers, integrators, programmers, and other business users. By creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the dealer company named on the account. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

2. Products and independent authorship

CityMind independently develops, licenses, documents, and supports the software sold through AuroraModules.com. References to Aurora Multimedia, CORE Studio, ReAX, or Aurora hardware identify compatibility or the intended operating environment. They do not mean that Aurora Multimedia owns, sells, endorses, or supports CityMind software unless a product page expressly says otherwise.

3. Orders, pricing, and taxes

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout. An order is accepted after payment is successfully completed and recorded. CityMind may reject or cancel an order affected by fraud, a pricing or catalog error, account misuse, or legal restrictions. If a completed payment is canceled for one of these reasons, the payment will be refunded.

4. Delivery

Products are delivered electronically through the dealer portal. Delivery may include a versioned software package, documentation, a dealer-wide entitlement, an installation license, or a combination of these items. You are responsible for confirming product compatibility, retaining an authorized backup, and following the product documentation.

5. License and permitted use

Purchase grants the license stated on the applicable product page. It does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.

A dealer-reusable module may be used by the purchasing dealer company in supported customer projects. The dealer may make supported configuration and presentation changes for those projects. The module may not be resold, sublicensed, published, shared with another dealer company, distributed as a standalone product, or used to create a competing product.

A controller-bound product may be used only for the number of controller installations covered by the purchased entitlement. Copying an installation license to another controller or attempting to bypass activation controls is prohibited.

The Theme Manager may be included with a qualifying paid product or purchased separately. Any included entitlement follows the qualifying order and may be revoked if all qualifying purchases are refunded.

You may not remove ownership notices, defeat licensing or security controls, provide unauthorized access to downloads, or use the software unlawfully.

6. Updates and support

The product page and dealer portal identify the release purchased and any update rights included with it. CityMind may improve, replace, or retire releases as hardware, firmware, CORE Studio, ReAX, security requirements, or supported workflows change. Unless expressly included in the product description, custom programming, onsite commissioning, system design, and support for third-party equipment are separate services.

Support requests should be sent to lamar@citymind.com with the dealer company, order number, product version, controller model, and a clear description of the issue. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, private keys, or licensing secrets.

7. Refunds

Purchases are governed by the Refund Policy published on AuroraModules.com. That policy is incorporated into these terms.

8. Warranty and responsibility for commissioning

CityMind will provide the software in material conformity with its published product description. Except for that commitment and any rights that cannot legally be excluded, the software is provided without additional express or implied warranties. Professional A/V systems depend on project-specific design, firmware, networks, wiring, programming, and commissioning. You remain responsible for reviewing the software, maintaining safe fallback control, testing the complete system, and obtaining customer acceptance before operational use.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CityMind will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from a product or its use. CityMind's total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

10. Suspension and termination

CityMind may suspend portal access, downloads, or licenses when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, unauthorized distribution, security threats, nonpayment, chargebacks, or a material violation of these terms. When practical, CityMind will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Manatee County, Florida, unless applicable law requires another forum.

12. Changes

CityMind may revise these terms for future purchases or continued service operation. The published page will identify the effective version. A material change will not retroactively reduce the license rights attached to a completed purchase.
