This Privacy Policy explains how CityMind Technology Group, LLC collects, uses, shares, and retains information through AuroraModules.com. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to lamar@citymind.com.
1. Information collected
Account and dealer information. We collect information such as your name, email address, dealer company, role, account credentials, and email-verification status.
Order and licensing information. We collect product selections, prices, tax and payment status, order history, referral codes, entitlements, downloads, software versions, controller or installation identifiers when required for licensing, and records of refunds or access changes.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. CityMind receives transaction status, customer and billing details, tax information, and payment identifiers needed to complete and support an order. CityMind does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Support information. We collect messages, attachments, troubleshooting details, and related correspondence when you request help.
Technical information. The site and its service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested pages, security events, session information, and cookies needed for authentication, checkout, fraud prevention, site operation, and diagnostics.
2. How information is used
We use information to:
• create and protect dealer accounts;
• process orders, taxes, refunds, and payment status;
• issue and verify entitlements and installation licenses;
• provide authorized downloads, updates, and support;
• send account verification, password reset, order, fulfillment, security, and support messages;
• prevent fraud, unauthorized distribution, abuse, and security incidents;
• maintain accounting, audit, licensing, and legal records;
• improve product compatibility, documentation, and site operation; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce customer agreements.
AuroraModules.com does not currently use checkout information for promotional email without a separate choice or request from you.
3. How information is shared
We share information only as needed to operate the service, complete a transaction, protect the platform, or comply with law. Service providers may include payment and tax processing, cloud hosting and storage, transactional email, security and fraud prevention, error monitoring, and isolated software-license signing. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their work and handle it under their own agreements and privacy obligations.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect customers, CityMind, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Cookies and sessions
AuroraModules.com uses cookies and similar browser storage required to keep you signed in, protect forms and checkout, remember security state, and operate the dealer portal. Payment services such as Stripe may use their own cookies and technologies under their privacy policies. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.
5. Retention
We keep account, order, tax, entitlement, licensing, refund, security, and audit records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, honor purchased rights, prevent fraud, meet accounting or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Support records are retained while relevant to the product, account, or issue. Information no longer needed is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated according to operational and legal requirements.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. These include encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, protected private downloads, signed webhook verification, isolated license signing, logging, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please contact lamar@citymind.com promptly if you believe an account or license has been compromised.
7. Your choices and requests
You may review and update certain account information through the dealer portal. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting lamar@citymind.com. Some records may need to be retained for completed transactions, taxes, licensing, fraud prevention, security, audit history, or other legal obligations. We will verify the request before acting and will respond as required by applicable law.
Transactional messages about accounts, security, purchases, licenses, downloads, or support are part of providing the service. If optional marketing messages are introduced, they will include an appropriate way to unsubscribe.
8. Children
AuroraModules.com is a business service for professional dealers and integrators. It is not directed to children, and CityMind does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
9. International use
CityMind operates from Florida in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. Customers accessing the service from another jurisdiction are responsible for ensuring that their business use complies with applicable local requirements.
10. Changes
We may revise this policy as the service, vendors, or legal requirements change. The published page will identify the effective version. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
